    Sweet Home Alabama

Slave shack on a hill near Abbeville AL. Shot yesterday afternoon. My main concern is whether the shot is just too damn busy, between the weeds, sky, and the wreckage. I do have closeups of the structure from a bunch of angles, but I wanted to include some of the surroundings for context.

I don't think it is to busy. I like the processing but the horizon is a little centered.

    Re: Sweet Home Alabama

i agree that the horizon being in the middle kinda throws this off. but to me, it transforms it in to an abstract graphicy type of shot. i can't spot but think this shot needs a bit more black. seems there are great ranges of grey and some black but just not enough, (i think)

love the sky and the wrecked building,

wait i think i know where the problem is. u see the far out grass? and how it's exactly the same shade of grey as the foreground? well that makes it flat. I wish the far grass was darker, that would add depth to this and make it pop!

Thanks Greg and Liban, this shot hasn't been cropped, so not a big deal to take some off the top or bottom and it shouldn't be a problem to burn in the farther grass slightly (just enough to add some dimensionality).
