    Alabama Outhouse

Still in service. I could tell...:eek6: No kidding. I think it belongs to a hunting club. I did clone a line dropping from the trees for a light on the inside.

Great little outhouse with character. Has electricity?! Leaving the wire in might have been good for that little bit of info in the scene. . .
    Good photo, Greg.

Very nice Greg. Good lighting. The wood is crisp. Did it come in handy? Nice comp!

Lovely little subject. I would have left the wire in place just to retain the oddity of it. The wood in the background looks as though it is going to go up in flames I am referring to that flame colour to the left of the outhouse.
You are a good explorer Greg.

    Greg,

That almost looks like a De-Luxe outhouse as wide as it seems and there is a metal roof! Needs the electric line for that added oomph!

The sun adds as well to make a good find to photograph!

Thanks DRG, Thanks Lori. I am not sure exactly how to tell you to get to it. I went up hwy 100 torwards Summerville and went west? Most of the roads are not marked. Here is the edit before I cloned the wire.

    Re: Alabama Outhouse

Greg, the wire doesn't add too much..I think good decision on your part. I see you had a little more to work with. I was thinking that the bottom needed some room in my first post. You might think about cropping from the left and getting rid of the ghost pine in the back making the foreground pine more prominent.

Looks more like a tension cable holding something else up. I think that's the anchor for it just to the left of the shack. Taking it out was a good thing.

The 'little house behind the big house' has aquired a bit of character over the years. I've been saying lately that one of the problems in this country is that there is a large percentage of the population who never have used one and probably wouldn't either.

    Re: Alabama Outhouse

Thank again Rod. I should have tried a wider shot but was really focusing my attention on the sun shining through the trees. Thanks as well Chunk. I have used an outhouse. At my late great grand ma's. But I was five years old at the time. She lived to be very old and never had indoor plumbing.
