    Alabama Sunset

    hey,
    i went hiking today and caught this pic of the sunset. feel free to comment and critique.

    very baroque.....................casper friedrich like. there is almost a varnished feel about this pic. great capture and colour, and while this type of photo doesn't really appeal to me as such, i can still appreciate the quality of it. which is good!

    reminds me of francis danby as well!

    thanks anew, the colors are what i liked also, it was odd how the clouds toward the top had such a dark gray nearly black look while still in a blue sky.but thanks again.

    I like it. I especially like the bands of red around the outer perimeter of the clouds immediately above the sun. (how descriptive was that? lol)

    Only critiques I would have would be the that:
    1. foreground has some white spots in it that could be cleaned up. They just stand out and the sun just enforces them.

    2. There is too much skies above. I think you could crop it down a bit.

    All just my opinion of coarse ;)
