    Sisters

My two girls, Julianna & Sophia. I took this a couple weeks ago while I was experimenting a little with lighting indoors. I fiddled with it some in Photoshop too.

Interesting lighting and pose, but the photoshop effects just aren't doing it for me. I wish the bottom and sides of this picture were not so blurry. Also, the intensity of your background drowns the girls out a little. Maybe try burning in the back a little while cranking up the contrast.

Thanks for your comments, Liz! I appreciate the feedback re: the editing effects. This is the original, which was actually color to begin with, and no edits:

oooh, that's definitely more pleasing to my eye than the first! I like the complementary colors you have going on (reds and greens) and the fact that i can see the rest of the girls. I love the lay of the dress on the girl on the left as well. I've noticed sometimes when people convert a color image to B&W, they lose a lot of the quality that the original image had. I think this works pretty well in color.

Ah...okay. I know what you mean about converting from color to b&w and such. I love b&w photos, and sometimes I forget that color can be so wonderful. Thank you so much for your feedback.
