    Lightbulb Rushing water

    Here are 3 pics I took down at our local river - 1st attempt at long exposure ... just prior to darkness ... tips and comments welcome ...

    and so castles made of sand melt into the sea ... eventually

    nice shots, with the 1st one being my personal fav. although i think you could crop out the bottom 1/4 of the shot. i just think there is too much of that one rock in the foreground that isnt doing anything for the pic

    the other dont grab my attention as much as the 1st though, but all three have a nice soft look to them. did u use any special filters, editing, or film??? maybe provide details of how u achieved this shots? im curious ;)

    these are nice shots. Good work with the long exposures. I agree with Soren about cropping the first one a bit. I like them all

    Cropping

    Sorry - yes, I did crop the first one in it's final form - but I posted the original uncropped (the rock in the foreground is the only place I could balance my camera - I did not have a tripod handy) - Canon A80 1/4 sec F8 ISO 100 - after taking this shot I was prevented from more experimentation (that day only) because I ran into a hornets nest just a couple of yards where I was positioned - didn't get stung but I had to get away from there in a hurry!! ...
