Lol. I love your title. It is so fitting. I like the branches in the foreground but I think that the center of the "V" may be too distinct, because it keeps dragging my eye in. I think I would rather have my attention completely on the two branches. But I think it comes down to a personal preference thing ultimately. I also like how you exposed the snow. It definitely feels COLD!

Talk about cold. Nice shot though, I like the green on the white, and you haven't overexposed the snow.

    Nice job,

    Jared

Mark, i like the title as well. I like it, the green pine and the icy snow feels fresh and cool. I just feel that the bg view between the snow should be desaturated and burned in. You were Triumphant!

D, thanks for posting. Yea, I see that the area in between is distracting. I'll try my hand at fixing that.

Jared, Welcome back man! I set my display to show blown highlights and a 1/3 drop in exposure worked perfect. 18 yesterday huh? well in forty or fifty years you can be the old timer!

One thing about the extreme cold is that it kept the snow nice & fluffy.
Hope you both have a great holiday,
    Mark.

Thanks Gary. Yeah and I was reaching too, lol! I put the original at 100% and looked for a crop. I understand what you are saying about saturation and burning, but I don't have a clue as to how much of either. If you have time to post a very rough sample of what you mean I would greatly appreciate it.
Heres a tiny pic of the full image i used, and a sample i made from your thoughts, pay no attention to the over psing on the rest of the pic.
    Thanks for posting,
    Have a great holiday,
    Mark.
