Out of the Shadows

From my recent shoot with my favorite model. Her friend from school came along for support, and I think I got lucky with this shot. I really wanted to mess with some shadows a bit, and not really worry about getting perfect hair and such. I think it added to the shot. What do you think?

I like it, came out good without the highlights getting blown out. Great exposure, and poses/expressions. My only nit pik is there is maybe a bit too much of the favorite models arm in the shot. A tighter crop really seems to work When I crop this about a half inch off the left and an inch off the bottom, I feel it looks stronger. Good work

This is well exposed in tough lighting, Ken. Nice job.
I think you could knock down the green patch between them a bit, but that's not very important, and get a catchlight into their eyes.
What was the feeling you wanted this photo to project? It seems to me an almost annoyed reaction to an unwanted intrusion on a personal moment.
