Interesting image. What was the thought you wanted to express or was this the product of experimentation. Upon first look it could be an image about violence in the city, not sure.

pez31, i did have an idea behind the picture, but I want to see what other people think first. I like your take on it representing "violence in the city", interesting.

gahspidy, yes it was a double exposure.

I would rather read an outcry for help in this picture.

When I look at this image I see a 'ghost' image. This image reflects for me "the past" and the colors and darkness of the image strengthen my idea about this shot.

That's just what I personally feel when I look at this one.

I'm with Piet. To me it looks like someone praying or begging for mercy... or maybe just really worried about the particular situation he sees. Did you do this with infared film (actual double-exposure), or just digital?

One thing I'm looking forward to on the D2X... in camera double-exposures setting (I think). Now I'll just have to wait a year or two to save up that much money.

I like it, but wish that the person was a different color than the rest of the shot (maybe a little lighter too?)

My very first impression was that I was looking at a ghost in a gloomy environment.

On second thought, I rather see someone "seeing the light". Something like a person who is about to get out of a bad situaion/posture (whatever it is) and move on in his life. (yet I might totally wrong....). Either way, I am quite convinced that this is an image about transition, a step in someone life.

I am curious to see what other's have to say about it.

BTW, I like your image a lot, it as a strong impact on me.
