Very nice! My critique might be on the composition - more room at the top of the thistle and more or less of the top on the forest. The forest maybe could use more of a subject. - Terry

Sony/Minolta - way more gear than talent.
They're both interesting, but the top one is more compelling. Purple on yellow works for me (and kids with cereal ). Nice processing job.
