Well, I can't critique the photography because I'm just learning, but what a GORGEOUS dog!

Very nice dog portrait but the background I feel is just too similar in colour and this prevents doggie from standing out and receiving the full attention he deserves.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

less empty space on the top, more space on the bottom. otherwise, nice colors, very warm. a bit more DOF would have helped to bring out some nose details, but its hard to freeze the pups with stopped down apertures.

It seems like part of her face is out of focus.

Yeah you needed to up the aperature and get the nose in focus. Good picture nonetheless.
