    Portrait of Deyanira . . . lighting??

    Hello all,
This is one of a few attempts I have made at doing a portrait shot. This model is my friend and is not very comfortable in front of the camera but I feel she pulled it off very well. I have no real lighting equipment as I do not really do these kind of indoor studio type portrait shots. I used a 150 watt reflector lamp and the 420EX flash that I had bounce off a white reflector board from the side. I had a greenish yellow colorcast on most of my shots and fixed them up in PSP8. If anyone could give me some tips on a descent, inexpensive lighting setup that I could uses for occasional portraits would be appreciated
Canon Elan 7, Kodak Royal Supra 200, Tamron 70-300 zoom at approx. 135mm at f8.0 black curtain about 6 ft behind subject.

This is pretty nice, as faces that fill the frame usually have an impact on the viewer. The lighting looks pretty good, though a bit flat. I've used tungsten lighting for years...two 500W Omnis into white umbrellas, plus a few reflectors...all under $400. I've always liked the results so never saw the need to change to strobes.
