    'nother Macro

    This reminds me that butterflies are closer to dragonflies than to puppies. Tell me what you think and how you would improve it. D70 with Tamron 90mm macro f/5.6 and 1/400.

    I think you did well here. I only feel like I would rather see it's wings spread out, even just a bit more. But the framing, sharpness and angle are all good. Nice job

    seems to me that no butterfly (or anything else that flies ) shall be spared for Lavalamp is out there with his Macro equipped D70.

    Keep em coming. . . you have a knack for these shots

    tripod..... f16 and slightly lower and right or left(head on or side view)

    THIS image is framed nicely as is, but the shallow DOF isn't for ME(not wrong by any means)

    I agree that there needs more DOF (higher f-stop). The focus on the head is very nice. But, i do like the other aspects here, including the pose and the wings... even though maybe a bit more spread out would be interesting too...
