    Latest macro attempt

Here is my latest macro attempt. This was done at a local nursery Sunday afternoon while my wife was picking up some flowers. Hand held with the D70 and 105mm at 1/90 with an aperture of f22. First is a crop from the second version, which is the best presentation?

    The more macro one

I prefer the close-up macro (is that redundant?). Nice work, looks like you're having fun with that new lens.

Nice job Old Timer - I like what you're getting out of your new D70 (insert jealous icon here). The color is brilliant and the detail is nice. I too like the cropped version better.

Is that what we southerners refer to as a "stinkbug"?
