    Morning light

    warm sunrise light on these birds





    just processed, they're from a trip to lake chapala during the christmas holidays

    I could imagine the first one in B&W. It would have the beautiful blacks with crisp white highlights. the composition is great also. love it.

    #1, beautiful. It's a grabber. Great contrast,sharpness, light, and composition. I agree with B&W conversion too.
    #2 is hurt by the BG distractions and that one FG item to the right. Now if he would have had a fish in his mouth...

    Great shots and nice even lighting and warmth. I like the bottom one a lot. The background doesn't bother me (it's quite out of focus), but I agree with Ed that it could be distracting to some. The top one is very good though I wish he was looking more at you. Alas, I think both are portfolio level work. Successful hunting.

    nkp68, a fish in the beak would had been great! it was a slow start of the day,cool also, the car indicated 1 degree celcius on my way to the lake.
