    Misty Windows

    Hi everyone,

I have just joined this forum and I would like to present a picture of mine for review.

This pic was taken in my bedroom. The cooking in the kitchen caused quite a bit of mist to develop on the windows. My wife spotted the opportunity for a photograph as the garden outside was looking very moody through the windows.

I would greatly appreciate some constructive critique on this pic.

    Thanks

    Image data:

    Camera: Nikon D70
    Lens: 24mm
    Aperture: 2.8

Colors boosted and a diffusion (soft) filter was applied in Photoshop

    Wow, really nice pic Amaan.

The colours are really interesting, love the yellow at the top. I also think you have done a great job on the crop on the photo, with the patterned part of the curtain finishing the picture well at the bottom and the darker parts of the top also finishing the picture ideally.

I wouldn't make any changes, very nice!

Thanks JJ and Clicker for the kind words!

Clicker: yes, that yellow colour is coming from a tree in the garden behind the window
