Another rapid snap from the versatile Minolta DiMage X20 take anywhere camera ! This one was at Buscot Park, Oxfordshire in England. The home of the Lord Faringdon and now in the capable hands of the National Trust although Lord Faringdon's family still run the estate. I noticed a photo in Buscot House (a large beautiful building) - it was of George and Laura Bush and signed by them - and the address on the envelope (from the White House ) read 'Earl Faringdon, Lord -in- Waiting'...presumably the current Lord Faringdon escorted the President and First Lady on a recent visit to little olde England.

This photo is of Black Swans - quite rare to spot. Swans are numerous in the UK but protected by the Crown !

Perhaps I could nickname the swans George and Laura ? Just a thought.......
