The leaves are melting

The autumn leaves are melting into the water and mud. I am reminded of a painter's pallette with all the colours. A little saturation and photoshop magic to boost the colour and outline the leaves adding to what nature has done.......

At first, I looked at this and thought "so what." But I keep looking at it which means it is holding my attention. To my eye, it looks overprocessed but, in this case, I think that is what is adding the interest. The leaf edges are a bit too defined, the colors a bit too saturated, the contrast a bit too high, sharpening a bit too much...

I would have cropped off some from the right and a bit from the left but that is personal preference. I am not sure if I like the photo or not, that doesn't happen very often. Good effort!
