    jungle bridge?

Actually, this bridge connects a beach cliff house to a huge offshore rock. They even built a small picnic area up there. I was exploring this rocky part of our coastline on a recent foggy day, and I took these two pics. I really like the one without the tide pools in the foreground, but I also wanted to see which one people like better. The one with the big rock in the foreground looks more like some ancient footbridge in a jungle. I think the tidepools really kills the mystique of the bridge in fog. What do you guys think?

I like the first one best. The difference in contrast from foreground to background due to fog works best in that one.

I prefer the second shot with the reflection of the cliff in the pools. The shapes of those trees makes me think more of Oriental prints than jungle.

I like the 2nd composition. You may want to try it without fog...

Both are excellent, but I prefer the first shot. It seems to convey the mood much better and there is a better balance of the lighting elements. I like the way the bridge lead the eye out of the image in #1. The overall feel of isolation and lonleness is expressed better. Very nice work.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
