I've been trying to figure out how to put color into B&W images and this is what I came up with. How is it? Any suggestions?

I've been trying to figure out how to put color into B&W images and this is what I came up with. How is it? Any suggestions?

Well as far as separating the color aspects from the B&w it's excellent, but the lack of contrast between the two makes it somewhat unremarable. Kinda' a blah sorta' thing. I have no doubt that most people would't even notice it upon first glance.
