    Hitchhiking Turtles

Spotted these guys yesterday trying to get a ride, have to admit their attire was a bit strange, even for New Zealand. They were good sports and loved having their picture taken, really hammed it up. They were contestants in a charity run whose aim was to get from Queens town in the south island, to Auckland in the north island on only $10, completing a series of challenges on the way, no easy feat. For their troubles my wife and I dropped them off at their next challenge. My corgi didn't seem to mind sharing his back seat with two turtles....
The reason I'm posting this in critque is that they needed photos for their blogg, and I thought I'd run this one past the group before sending it on.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

You might crop some off the top. I like the great colors and the way they stand out from the background, GREAT JOB! Jeff

I'd suggest a touch of burning on their heads, but otherwise a nice shot. Nice dof.
