    Hard at work

Just found out that the Canon has a Super Macro so took this and used it to learn some Paintshop Pro techniques. Any comments?

Kinda cool. I think that frame is a littel overwhelming.

Roger, this is appealing. I too think the frame is overwhelming, but i like it. I think i would want to see the color removed from the pen, but that is only a personal preference. i think you've done well

Thanks LavaLamp and Gary for the comments.

LavaLamp, I know what you mean. I found this tutorial on how to put frames on and I threw everything at it and came out with well (Yes). Trouble is I could not remove it and I didn't capture the editing on the photo first, lesson learnt.

Gary, The tutorial I was looking at was how to select various bits and how to use layers and I used this to take away all the colour except for the gold on the clip and barrel, the rest is B&W. I then went negative and it looked better than the original intention.

Since adding the frame it sort of made everything into one layer any ideas to break them apart or is it just cut and paste the photo?
