    I love this concept, and compositionally its great. But I don't like the shadows. There just too distracting for me. The color of the flowers is great too!

    I agree with Jared about the shadows but I think you have captured the colour tones of the actual flowers beautifully.

    I like the concept overall. I think the shot would have been better if the flowers were moved away from the wall to elliminate the distracting shadows.

    Thanks for the comments all...

    I took about 50 shots changing a little of this and that -- trying to get a good white-balance yet still have a warm picture. I also played with the shadows a bunch. It was interesting how just moving a candle a little changed the overall feel. Man... digital is just great when it comes to experimenting.

    I do see your points about the shadows being distractive. I'll try again with a more distant backdrop.
