DAFFIES!! post your spring flowers here!

Daffodils and tulips are my favorite spring flowers, and they are popping up all over the northeast US. I took a roll just of daffies today with my Diana! (yes, MTBbrian, I left the Holgas at home. They have to rest up for the trip to Arizona!) So, in the spirit of Rickwalt, I want to start a SPRING FLOWERS thread! Post you photos of spring flowers here. Mine will be up soon!

What is the trip to AZ about? You'll be in my neck of the woods, you should come up!

    Megan,

I've got the first daff and tulips films hanging and drying. Haven't scanned or mounted anything yet, but, meanwhile in my Gallery there are Jonquils (same family) The yellow tulips are up, the pink and rose ones are just starting to open. The others we'll see about tomorrow.

    Jonquils

And here are some Bluebells from this am (early, you can still see the dew and drip from the rain). I'll have some more in a day or so.

Penny, beautiful shot with the totem.

    Well, I have two.

First one is the Easter Sunday service at the Crystal Cathedral. The picture can't do justice to the amazing display of flowers they had.

The second picture is all we have for flowers right now up here in Northren British Columbia.

When you talk about spring flower there are some real beauties, BUT here is what my yard does on it's own and there are plenty of them in the spring. And we inherited the forsythia and there is more than enough of that too.

    yes, color!
they came out pretty well. I'll try to get a scan and put them up before I go to AZ.
I'll onlu be there for 2.5 days, so I won't have time for a side trip - BUT - I'm visiting my cousin, so it won't be the last time I'm out that way!

Here are my daffies. The sun was shining on them perfectly.
The next images I post will probably be from what I shoot in Arizona!

    Happy spring!

If you insist. This is in northwest washington, near lynden.

this also is a test to see if there is a "no thread stretch" feature yet.

This was taken before i had a digital and before I knew how awesomly cool low ISO speeds were.

This is one of the tulips that was transplanted just two years ago into the house border. I even saved it from the lawn care people this afternoon.
