    Field....

Took this one the same day as the lightning. This photo has something which I like, although I cannot figure out what. I think the DOF could have been more, but I really like this one.

    Your comments would be appreciated.

Nice colors here. I love the yellow on the endless green, very nice affect. I agree about the DOF, a little more, so the weeds in the middleground in focus would be nice, but you might loose some of that effect of the yellow on green.

    Nice shot,

I think the DOF is actually fine the way it is. It emphasized the foreground elements, which is good in this case. I think one of the things I would fix is the fact that the background is dark and a bit off color. Maybe make it brighter and not so brown. A good picture.

I also think the DOF is perfect as is. The colors are beautiful and I love the compostion. It kept mye ye moving around from tractor to reins (or whatever the loopy leathery things are) to the background. I think it's neat the way the form of the tractor and reins (whatever) are mirrored in hilly background. I also like the way the brightness of the colors in the foreground contrast with the muted colors in the back. Did I say I liked this picture?

Side question: what does ZA stand for?

I think the DOF is not bad at all. It emphasizes the foreground and makes the background a sea of green. The composition is very nice on the tractor. The only down side to this photo is the rather dark and drab hills and sky. Maybe you could lighten those up in PS or go back and reshoot on a clearer day.
Good eye on spotting this scene!
    Cheers.
