Cacti love sun

Taken in Joshua Tree NP, California. I'm always looking for the perfect cactus pic. Haven't shot it yet, though I think this one is testing warmer..

Beautiful. Love the star effect (did you use a filter?) The one thing that might help is if you used a smaller branch right in the middle, to reduce the lens flare, but I think it worked well.

No, no filter that I can remember.. I think I removed the polarizer before I took this shot. The shot's pretty but I wish there was a little red in it too

Ah, very true GB. A nice soft, warm red would work perfectly.
