    Cacti are Sharp!

From my Sedona AZ P&S experience.

    "right after this pick"

See that spiky thing on my hand? Well I'm not holding it, this attacking Cacti decided to imbed itself in my hand. I'm not smilin either, I'm cursing through my teeth.

Rob and I wanted to get an image of us in front of a Cactus. Well his elbow brushed up against another one, and then it all went downhill from there. Since this thing was so spiky (and sharp) I used 2 rocks to see if I could smack it off Rob's elbow. Well, half came off, and imbedded in my hand. Immediatly, I backed up into another one which imbedded into my leg. We were like the 2 stooges. Anyways, bloodied and 20min later, we decided that we were already late, so skip the emergency room and off to Sedona.

These are all fun images! Love the cactus poke. That's gotta hurt. Keep 'em coming.

I'm beginning to think maybe the forum should hold an Arizona gathering next year.

Everything he said and just reiterate...these are simple--- but striking and beautiful.

Arizona sounds good ---hopefully we may be living closer to it if all works out...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Although I reserve the right to be jealous.

Funny you guys should say that...

I have a slim chance of being in Phoenix this summer...

Hodgy, these are all beautiful. I'm glad you've got a chance to shoot how you love - and often!

    Hey!

Why does it underline love when I write it? Someone else try typing love and see if it gets underlined? (there's all this weird HTML crap in the edit screen that reappears when I erase it... maybe this computer's possesed.)

    Sorry for the hijack James!

    Hey SuperLara

How come it's underlining the word "love" as well as the word "work" when we type it? Any ideas?

    Re: Hey SuperLara

Hmm, I only see it underlined in your question. Post #8. Looks like it picked up the word love and to "search." Is it happening in other threads as well? Rick, pm me if you have more information. I'll look into it.

I haven't seen it happen when I post the word love or work.

    Rick

Is it clickable, as in a link? If so, looks like you've got yourself some spyware. I had some wierd uninvited toolbar onetime that made links out of certain keywords that appear in ordinary text, such as 'love' and 'work'. Nonetheless, I don't see the underlines, except for in that one post.

    Re: Rick

Ah, I think Bob could be right Rick. I did a little searching and found there is some nasty little spyware that can do this to your computer.

I use Adaware and Spybot often, to remove spyware.

If you don't already use either or both of these, I highly recommend them.

    Adaware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
    SpyBot mirror links http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html

Sorry for the sidestep of your photos Hodgy!!! They are beautiful.
