Bridge over the Liffey

Hi,

People who've visited Ireland may know the Liffey as the large river that flows through Dublin City Centre. Here's a shot of the same river nearer my house, when it's a little smaller...

I'm only starting to try and take decent photos, so all comments are welcome. I can take criticism

The overall tone and feel of the image is very good. I like the way the line of the bridge flows down and out of the image and the arches are very nice. The main nit that I have with this photograph is the large negative area in the front. I have a hard time getting past this to the real meat of your image. I would have rather seen a little more detail in this area to give my eye something to transition from to the rest of the image. Overall a very nice effort, lets see more of your images of Ireland.

By negative area, do you mean the large dark area under the nearest arch? If so, I understand what you mean.
