NIce patterns, though they may have had more of an impact if you had knelt down a little. The snow appears gray, not white, on my moniter. You don't list the camera used, but +1.5 or so additional stops of exposure will assure you of geting nice white whites.
As Charles stated, nice patterns. I too am seeing this as a bit underexposed on my monitor. The bright white snow had tricked your cameras exposure meter into underexposing. Depending on what camera you shoot with you could do something to compensate for shooting into bright white scenes.
