    Black and white abstracts

    Hello -
I haven't done much work of merit recently, so I've gone missing from Critique Forum.

But now I need you all!

I'm considering entering a newer photo from my "Thing" series into a contest for black and white images only. I've posted a few of my newer in-camera photo-collage type images here on my site:

    http://www.planet-megan.com/Thing/Thing.html

Click on the black and white "Thing" button for the black and white gallery.

I'm not sure which image of these to submit. Which do you think is strongest? Do you like any? Think they all suck? I need to know before I spend $$ on entry fees. I had a rpevious series of multiple exposed abstract cars and such, but they were always rejected. I just need to know whether the newer work has any merit at all, or if I'm completely, utterly mad in my Holga art pursuits. Sometimes I feel like I am. Thanks in advance for looking, and I shall return the favor and contribute critiques as per the "rules!"

[I'm still developing the web site, I know it's got a few quirks.]

Of the three I like the last one with the flowing forms the best. Actually I like the last COLOR one the best. Can you make that B/W?

How did you make the second B/W one? It has a kinda Yin-Yang feeling for me.

i like them. especially the 2nd and 3rd. the 3rd has a sculptural quality.
you compose these in the camera as multipal exposures? i had a holga a long time ago but lost it before i could develop the film, ill have to try it again, i like the effects you are getting. ive been seduced by the immediacy of digital, but i like the ethereal, serendipitous quality of toy cameras, or pinholes. im not an expert but i like your work.

If the 3 I like the 2nd one the best. Maybe the last a close second. I think it has the stronger design elements of the 3 and I like how it is black on one side and white on the other..

    Loosely

Yes I do compose in the camera as multiple exposures. Loosely, anyway! I have some idea of what I want, but of course, have no idea *exactly* how it will come out.

    Thanks for looking and responding!
