    Behind The Water

This shot was taken from behind Dry Falls. There's a path that goes right behind the waterfall. These kids were ahead of me looking out.

I like the abstract quality of it.

I'm not sure if I should crop down so the overhanging rock in the left hand side is removed or if it looks better to leave it to show where some of the water is coming from.

    Hello CaraRose,

I like what you are going for here. My very first thought was to crop the rock but looking back at it, I think that the picture needs it. The effect of the water arround the rock is very interesting.

One thing that I have done though is to adjust the levels to darken the silhouettes without loosing details on the ramp (or at the very least trying not too!!) and then I slightly boosted the contrast to further darken the kids. You may also notice (as a side effect of the levels adjustment) that I gained in details in the sky. I am a beginner with Photoshop as I have already said and my tweaks may be less than ideal but I think that these slight modifications further enhance your concept.

Please tell me how do you feel about it.

    Regards

    Seb

I really like that. It really clarified the silhouettes and brought out the details.

Trust me, next to me, you're a photoshop genius. :0)
