    1st day of winter

I was shooting in the oposite direction of this hill and when I turned around I was amazed by the colors that the sunset brought out in the semi-leafless trees. Reminded me of a beautiful fall day, other than it being 10 degrees outside and not being able to feel my shutter button finger.

    Your thoughts?

Warm colors. I thought cropping the top would be a fun experiment.

I really like the cropped version much better than the original. I cropped one myself and adjusted the curves bit to bring out the colors a bit more.

Great image. . .very surreal looking. I like the original version and crop. The last edit you did makes the color of the sky very unatural and not complimenting the fiery trees. I like the darker almost impending doom feeling to the sky. Just a slight increase in levels brings out a bit more electricity.

Thanks for the comments Gary. After looking at this again, I agree with you and I will be going back to the original version when it comes time to print. Maybe a little crop off the top but I will leave the colors they way there were when they came out of the camera.

    Thanks again for your input!
