Good light can be hard to find

Unfortunately I often have trouble getting out when the light is good do to silly things like "work" or "errands" or "responsibilities."

So a lot of times I'm shooting on the weekends at 12noon on a full sunny day. Oh, the harshness, it burns!

Thankfully a few weekends ago I got out a little later, about 2:30pm, and then came across this guy around 4pm when the light was getting nice. It wasn't the golden hour yet, but the sun was getting low and Big Buck here (oh dear, I've started to name the deer) decided to model for me. Got several good shots, but this is my favorite (yes, one, singular, favorite. I actually am only posting one shot!)
