I finally have my edit suit at work up and running. Canopus ACEDVio analogue and firewire capture card with analogue in and out. Premier Pro, Audition and Encore DVD. I am capturing an hour worth of video now, and i have 5 other programs running in the background including photoshop and it hasn't dropped a frame yet !
its not a mac but i am very pleased with its performance

analogue in and out? that sounds like you can capture and send full YUV or RGB signals!?cool
