    Don't just look at the megapixel, look at the image resolutions. What I mean is, the Fuji 12 MP has a higher resolution then the Canon 14 MP. Be sure to look into that as well.

    at first glance the canon looks the better option.. hard to be sure thow without actual side by side usage comparisons.. neither are "typical" portrait cameras are they.. more general purpose all-rounders..
