I, too, had a very smiliar experience to the below post. I ordered a Nikon N70s with lens from Royal Camera for $468.99. I received multiple calls/emails from Max asking that I call Royal Camera to provide further info. I finally spoke with Max tonight (January 24, 2007). He asks me if I'd be interested in purchasing memory cards, and I responded that I had plenty and did not need any more. Max responded in a weirdly vague manner, so I asked him if we were crystal clear on not ordering any memory cards. Max got angry and asked, "What do you think I'm retarded?!" I was taken aback and tried to assuage the situation by saying that I just wanted to be certain we were on the same page on not ordering any memory cards. Max then asked me if I wanted to buy batteries. I asked him what type of batteries, and Max said a Lithium Ion battery for the camera. I responded that I was surprised to hear that a Nikon digital SLR body did not come with a standard Li-Ion battery. Max angrily replied that he would cancel the order and then hung up. This is one of the most shocking, unprofessional conversations I've encountered with an e-commerce store. I will never shope with Royal Camera again.
