Yellow ! (you've done Red and Orange)

We're a little behind in the colours, and so I have Orange and Red to come
    Can I play too?
We held my Dad's funeral today. Since it was my parents' wedding anniversary today my wife and I took their usual walk; from their house through the park over the lake to South Hinksey.

I'm sure I'll have Red and Orange to contribute in a while.

Sorry to hear about your father, I just wanted to say that I think it is very sweet that you and your wife took "their walk" today.
    Very sweet.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

Here's a yellow tree I found yesterday at Pendarvis, a state historical site in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. The cottages were built by Welsh miners who had immigrated to work in Wisconsin's Lead district in the mid 1800s. The street is Shakerag Alley, named for the communication method of choice used by the miner's wives to let the miners on the hillside opposite know that meals were ready. The houses are built on a different scale which causes even short people like me feel tall as we duck through the doorways.

I took these photos a year or two ago at Barrier Lake in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies. The panoramic is 2 photos joined together.

Re: Yellow ! (you've done Red and Orange)

Paul, Thanks for starting this thread, I can't get enough of those fall leaves. This one I took 4 years ago in the NC mountains , the one and only time I saw fall leaves. These are all so beautiful and different. I have a question for those who are in the know about fall leaves. Where do you think is the best show? Someone told me Colorado, but I don't see how it could be more beautiful than those Blue Ridge Mountains that I saw. I'm thinking of maybe taking a quick road trip to catch some. Thanks guys, and Paul, I hope you keep busy because it's a hard thing to do, losing your father. Sounds like you have a supportive wife, which will help.

mjs... wow, that first shot! I can't imagine being a kid and swinging in that park with that glorious color all around. It's like a fantasy. Question.. is the 3rd pic the same as the 1st? You sound like you're having fun out getting these beautiful shots. those in the Red thread are gorgeous too.(the top one especially).
