Thanks Chunk. That brick sidewalk is part of the old sidewalks up by the courthouse. They were there long before the part you saw on down the hill. As for the bell it was in the original courthouse that stood where the one I have pictured is located. It survived the confederate raids into the northern parts of Kentucky when many courthouses were burned. It was torn down in the early 1950's. The bell was stored in the attic of the new courthouse and forgotten. It was found about five years ago when the courthouse was going through a renovation and the new cupola was being added. they were going to reinstall it on the courthouse but decided to give it a place of more prominence in a little green space that had been created on the courthouse hill just up from where you and I had lunch.Originally Posted by Chunk
