This is a stump - presumably damaged in the blast 25 years ago at Mt. St. Helen's that is clinging to the side of this hill. I found it interesting.

That is very cool! It is like that stump is still trying to cling onto life.. still trying to hang in there even after the eruption. Its saying "You cant knock me down"
