Since I haven't been here in a while. New job is keeping me busy, plus I just bought myself a new gold detector and plan on giving it a whirl this Friday hopefully.

Anyhow, here are just a few recent pics of my niece's sweet 16 party (she's the one on the right in the first pic) last Saturday. It was very dark and the only light available was coming from a multi-colored disco ball. So, I just set the shutter to one second, powered up the flash, and zoomed in the lens after pressing the shutter. Got some strange but fun effects.
