The school was formed in 1910, with their original building completed in 1912, over the years the building was added onto through the 1950s and again in the 1960s. The population in this place was huge, and by 2007 the school was suffering from major structural damage, ceiling tiles would fall, the pool in the basement scummy. So a new building was constructed right next door and opened officially in September 2010. Yes, this particular building was only shut down *this* year. It was supposed to be demolished over the summer, I'm glad it wasn't. Spent a good three hours in here.

So the original NTCI is going to be demolished. I can remember when it was quite the place - yes I am dating myself. Axle, nice images, it is always nice to see these places documented for posterity. The locker, gym and auditorium pictures bring back memories of growing up and teen-age years. Thanks for these.
