Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the Viewfinder. Hmmm, sounds like a bad advertisement.
The final volume - I promise. Because I don't have any more photo's!
Finally got to Greenville on Friday, and picked up my slides. The morning of the transit, I shot a couple rolls of Superia Xtra 400. When I reloaded my camera the last time, I didn't realize that I have grabbed my roll of Provia 100, until after I had it loaded. Oops.
So here are my final shots of the transit. If you remember, I mentioned that it clouded up at the end. Notice how far Venus moved between the first and second shots. These are consecutive shots on the roll. We got a hole in the clouds, and I shot off the last three shots posted here. Look carefully, and you will see where Venus is barely touching the sun. These have been reduced for PR (from 3090 pixels to 640). If you are having trouble seeing Venus, I can always crop part of the original image for you. Hey, I can see it and I'm 42!
:-O
