Venus Transit Photo's By My Daughter

Nat asked for it, so here they are. Shot by my youngest daughter, nine years old, with a Kodak 2.0 megapixel camera.

    She's Into Photography

She got the camera for Christmas. It didn't take her long to fill up that 16 MB memory card either. So she took her allowance money, and chore money, and birthday money and bought her a 256 MB memory card!

The wife and I bought her a book on taking pictures back in April. It was written for kids, and she read it through within a day or two. When we went to Barnes and Noble last Friday, she went with me to the photography section, looking for another photography book. Guess she wants to be like me!

It sure looks that your daughter is really into learning photography! That's just awesome!
Nothing like a Dad and daughter spending time together doing something they both love.

Speaking of Barnes and Noble, I need to hit the store very soon. I'm looking to find books that give kind of a step by step. I seem to do better if I'm shown what to do and then do it myself.

Then this is the place to find out which book to look for!

I've only got 20 Photography books - so far. I spend around $200 a year on them. (Posing, Lighting, Landscapes, Astrophotography) Asylum Steve on the other hand, spends about 10 times that much! Post what you're looking to get into, and you'll get more responses than you'll know what to do with!

    Thanks!

Yep.... There is a weath of knowledge in this community. I have already learned a lot just by reading the posts here. I would like to progress a but more before I start asking questions though except maybe a suggestion or two for instructional digital photograpy books that are simple and straight forward.

....and Steve, yes I know!!! I'm chicken

No need to be chicken. His growl is worse than his bite. :-O
