unofficial photo shoot at the beach...

My wife and I made our way down to Malibu today and met a fella and his kids on the beach. I asked him if he minded if I shoot his kids and he said "Sure". He then suggested he would pay me for pictures but I told him I was just getting some practice in. I gave him my email anyway and who knows, maybe he'll like them enough and offer again to pay for pictures. The photos below are of his children, Kayla and Van. I think they turned out cute.

Nice shots for him Ray. It would be nice if he pays you for them.
I know this isn't the Critique forum, but they seem a little cool on my monitor.

Thanks Kate and Chunk! I hope he's still willing to pay too, hehe. Yes, they are a bit on the cool side and I did that intentionally in PS by desaturating them just a tad and adjusting curves for a bit of brightness in the midtones.

Great shots! Reminds me of a Ralph Lauren children's ad. They look adorable! Those kiddos look cold- or as my son (4) says "I'm soaking cold!"

Thank you! Yes, they were shivering by the time they got done swimming and posing for me, hehe.

I'm off to bed too. I'm bushed.
