We had great fun with my grandsons at the Monster Truck Jam in Tulsa. Our new BOK Center arena is nice but really too small for these guys. They spent a lot of time braking and getting out of the way, but still managed to drive the trucks hard enough to require towing three of the six.

As old Max used to say; Missed it by "that" much!
Back in the day, a friend had a 66 Riviera with the 445 (?) ci engine. Do You remember the one with the rolling speedometer? Anyway, it was fun to drive and had almost as much power as my 67 442 did. My 442 had a tricked out 455 in it though.

Yah Bruce, '66 was first year for 2nd generation Rivs, and the last year for the Buick 425ci 'nailhead' v8s, rated at 340 HP,
and it did have a rolling speedo in the dash.
Some 425s had two 4 bbl carbs, and were rated at 360HP. Remember, that's way back when gas was .30 cents a gallon !
'67- '69s have a big block 430ci engine, rated at 360HP, and in '70 Buicks went to the big block 455 motor.
The 455 Olds 442s were also very nice cars too, more so, if you had positrac and a heavy right foot . . . yeowwwwsa !
