    Staying Warm

I hope that everyone is staying warm as this brutal winter weather hits. I know here in Texas there have been lots of blackouts and some snow. Here in College Station we are expected to get at least an inch on Thursday (yes that is considerably less than what some get up north, but snow in south Texas is downright unheard of) and some other towns have gotten much more.

This was taken INSIDE my dorm room where it was a nice 78 degrees, its a little chilly outside ice window anyone?

It's all relative isn't it? We have about 18 more inches of snow in the last 24 hours. Added to the couple feet already down. Heading up north with friends on Saturday to snowshoe and take picture. Should be a great day...it's supposed to snow again!

Nice use of your depth of field there.

lol iguana it is very relative, people are going absolutely nuts at even the thought of snow.

People in southern texas do not know how to drive in snow. If it is snowing and icy on friday, they can count on one person skipping class to stay WAY away from teenage drivers on ice.

    and n8 - Thanks I'm getting better

Well, the snow has come and gone, only got a few pictures cause my battery was already low before I went out, and the cold didn't help at all. Didn't really go for great composition, was really just trying to get as many as I could in because it was melting at a ferocious rate.

Isn't it amazing how a little snow can turn even the most mature people into little kids again?

Even the squirrels liked the weather

Well, if you're still feeling like playing in the snow, you are welcome to shovel my steps -

Hahahaha, this is one of the reasons why I live in the South. No snow, and when we do, it is here for one day then gone No shoveling required.
