Some wildlife pics with the Lumix FZ-5

More shots with the new Lumix. OK,OK, snails aren't terribly challenging wildlife shots to get, but this is a point and click camera I'm using. The osprey shots where taken from a Hellgate Jetboat at 432mm (equivalent) ISO 100. Definitely missed having my 1D mkII and 400mm f5.6L.

Those two osprey shots were the best of about 20 shots I took on the Rogue river. Those birds were everywhere, and there I was without the requisite gear for birding! I'll say one thing for the Lumix, it takes really nice "macro" shots, although you can't shoot macro mode at the midpoint to long end of the zoom range.
