    Sizzling Saturday

Ok I know its garbage, but what else can you do on a Saturday morning. The wife gets to sleep in, your up early and cooking your own breakfast. Just a little distraction from a mondane task. Haven't you ever taken a picture of some mondane everyday thing just because you are bored and needing to push a shutter release?

    Thanks a lot OT!!!

I'm sitting here looking at your pic of the sizzling bacon and now I'm craving it!! And the worst part about it is that I don't have any in the fridge to cook!!!!!

Good catch, it's actually a pretty good shot of frying bacon. I must also say that you are a braver man than I, for I would never get a lens that close to a pan of hot, popping grease.. Please tell me you used a telephoto!

Thanks again for teasing my tummy and tastebuds!

    Yes I have .......

Often had the yearning to take pictures, but nothing really in mind to take. Maybe the weather is overcast with flat lighting, I'm so often busy when the "golden hour" of light is happening in the morning or evening, that I feel a Landscape at any other time is futile.

Good for you that your not afraid to try something, even if the final image in itself is of no value to you, I'm sure you look at it critically to check the lighting contrast etc. Which is advancing your knowledge.

Now how about some eggs? ;)

Talking That stuff will kill you. Wanna share some-I'm hungry:-)

That just gave some inspiration for a photo project. Since I haven't had time for much photography lately, maybe I'll shoot food in the kitchen. Thanks dude ;)

cool shot although at first glance I thought it was a medical condition type shot...

Your a good man to let the wife sleep in--- I got to spend all day yesterday from 9 am to 9 pm away with a friend and my Larry watched the children AND cleaned the house by the time I got back...

I agree - always good to try something new. A lot of times that might mean that you're not going to get a keeper, but you'll learn something - and who knows!
