    Settled.

So a couple months ago I posted, and was pretty much mia since...I was taking some time off, looking at studio/office space, looking at college, mostly just figuring out where I'm going with things. So I thought I'd update it.
    The winds are changing

Still working. A lot. Here's some recent stuff...I'd post it here, but it's easier to just do the link... http://www.asjblog.typepad.com/ .

End result...I'm still shooting, and will continue to shoot. We are deciding between building the garage with the loft, and leasing space. Financially, building is better, because we need to get the garage in anyway, and it will add to our property value, and really, I just need office space, and somewhere to put all this crap. But leasing is appealing as well, so still on the fence. We are going to start getting quotes for the cement, and see where we go.

I'm going to pick up some classes at UWM this winter, getting things in order to start after January, not full time, but a little at a time. A year or two from now, we'll step back again and reevaluate.

I"m also going to joing my state organization (ppa). I got an email and an invite from one of the top senior photogs in the nation (who happens to live near me) to join him and check it out, so that should be fun.

All in all, life is good. I'm a little stressed right now, with school starting and work starting to pile up on me, but still moving forward.
    I sleep, but I don't rest.

You know, there aren't too many photographers here whose work I am regularly blown away by.

    You're one.

I guess I'll bookmark your blog.

Or you could just go back to posting here more often.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Settled.

    thanks guys.

Here's the biggest thing I've learned in the past 3-4 months.

    Schedule. And stick to it.

Makes life so much easier. As does making policies and sticking to them. Two biggest things I've learned.
