    second round product shots

some more from the second half of the pharmacy shoot...I'm so glad I had this opportunity to learn so much from this shoot. These are all products by which medications can be administered.

The possibilities are endless. anyway thanks for looking

    I agree

but they had to be done and for as boring as syringes and medical dispersion methods are well--- they turned out alright the only creativity available in these was rotation... and conversion to BW.

The first one. Cool seeing all those different "applicators". :-)
I think I would have liked this one better in color, but I'm a color type of guy. I even dream in color, which I understand is rare.

What I like about the second one, is that it has an almost sinister look to it. (Now how do you make lollipops sinister? Arrange them in a symmetrical pattern and convert the shot to B&W!) Very sterile looking, like something out of a '50's lab (or movie). The B&W gives it a retro look. While it might not be as eye catching as the first shots, it definitely works.

    Hi Nat,

I hate to say it but these don't do anything for me either. The first is too cluttered for my taste and the second, while not as cluttered, is too "straight on" of a shot for me. The countertop, also, is bothersome. I would prefer those instruments to be shot on an antiseptically white countertop if that is available. Keep shooting, though, cuz I'm confident you'll find the perfect angle!

    LOL-- I agree

The white background and counter is what I suggested and they felt it was too sterile and boring and stark... and they wanted a "clustered" and tightly grouped shot...sometimes it's what the "client" wants...you know you do this enough in your business

    that makes two of us

that dream in color.... and it was odd positioning but what they wanted...the diagonal lollis and applicators was the only one from the last shot that had any interest at all for me. I was happier and more comfortable with the first session.

Yep, I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes you wonder why they even bother hiring you!
