    The sand man

This is a sand sculpture that I thought was interesting. I know the picture isn't great but the sculpture is the main focus! Get it? To put the size in to perspective the white railing in the background is about 3ft tall, Jeff

    Jeff,

I assume that you couldn't get the top of the sand sculpture in the shot because of room behind you. Other than not having the top I can't see what else you could have done.

I have always envied sculptures, I have no clue how they do it, I can just about manage a sandcastle out of a bucket

The reason the top is not there is there are four sets of spotlights that would enter the picture pointed toward where I was standing. It was a choice of cutting out the lights and messing up the picture or taking it without the very top of the sculpture. You can actually see part of one set in the top right corner of the picture, Jeff
